THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE: A DIVINE ORCHESTRATION

I would like to congratulate Nigerians for the divinely orchestrated assent of FG to the National conference, this is the best thing that has happened to this nation in a very long time, its like taking this generation to the drawing board back in 1914 to rewrite our history and plan our future. This corrupt government has just shot itself in the foot, because now Nigerians are wiser, sharper, educated and we know what we don’t want and  with one united voice will decide what we want, for ourselves and coming generations. so we must not take this conference for granted. This is like another June 12,the junta never expected that Nigerians will vote unanimously for one man, for one vision, for one united cause,  it was one election that awed the entire globe, we are at that point again! And fortunately we have technology to push and power it, what we didn’t have in 1993! Their greatest undoing is that they belief that we can never agree, we shall shock them, and they will have no option but to ‘step aside’ into exile, yes!
Now people lets hijack the initiative from their grip, by actively participating in this all the way, this is another June 12,but a mandate that cannot be annulled!. lets sideline this political class to total irrelevance, lets free this nation from their stronghold, lets by ourselves mobilise at all levels from grassroots to the Diaspora. We can do this; in fact this is the appointed time. This is the revolution we have been waiting for, this is it people!!ARISE O COMPATRIOTS!
This exercise is not as difficult as some paint it to seem, it may look tasking but it is not impossible, they talk about framework, issues to discuss, who and who to invite, too many  ethnic groups, etc. We are not as disorganised as the government wants us believe, every group has a leader, every association and professional bodies have a president at state and national levels, even market men and women, artisans are organised, and each of these groups you will be amazed have elites and very educated members. So every group can be represented by their leaders, everyone can and should be heard, certainly we can’t gather all of these people in one hall, it can be broken into phases and zones.
About what should be discussed, anything and everything, so that things can be clarified, because there is so much misconceptions and misunderstanding which have been planted by the political class to generate distrust, suspicion  and disharmony among the people, all of these have to be addressed, it cannot break us, it will only make us stronger and more united, we will realise that we the people are all victims of misrule and marginalisation, and our needs and concerns are the same; food and life security, infrastructure, quality, practical and sellable education, quality, accessible and affordable healthcare, industrial empowerment, etc. We are a peaceful people; even the militant groups want peace, unity and prosperity. Our common adversary is this ethnic group of corrupt politicians, and we can together overcome them, let’s break their ranks!. Beware, when the heat is on they will want to take off their cloak and mix with the people, we must not allow them to mutate and regroup, this is our rare and divine opportunity to spew them out finally!
We don’t have to overflog the overwhelming necessity for a brand new constitution; we can gather all previous documents; delete, cut, paste and rephrase. Because this current constitution is deliberately porous, legally lopsided, morally deficient and it is absolutely corrupt. Therefore we must rally around this common cause and ensure that a new Nigeria emerges , this is an opportunity offered on a platter of gold to finally dislodge corruption and poverty from our midst, and we must not take this conference lightly. Opposition call it diversionary, diversion for who? they are angry because the national conference is  one of their campaign  selling points, which they will never convene if they come into power. They are all one and the same, check out their profile. It will not surprise me if tomorrow APC and PDP decide to go into merger “Gay marriage” and call themselves All Peoples Progressive Democratic Congress Partying (APPDCP)..
People, don’t be deceived for one moment that this political dispensation have good plans for us, forget all the media hype and crumbs they throw at us when they sense some tension, and the false humility they muster during elections, we have 14 years experience now and the luxury of hindsight, so we must not allow their ‘charms’ to work this time . Perhaps you are benefiting in some ways from them, I tell whatever they are doling out to you is like a grain of sand from the vast sea shore of your inheritance. If you are a graduate in this country and you don’t have a  job or business that can feed you, clothe you, house you, transport you and put some reserve in your bank account for the future, then you are marginalised, and painfully so in the face of the fat wages these people pay themselves,(which is classified),the illegal offices of their wives, their bloated, inefficient, duplicated, syphon cabinets of endless aides, advisers, assistants, caterers, etc who are either ‘special’ or ‘senior special’. As if looting the treasury is not enough; they now steal our oil direct from source and president GEJ want us to belief that some ghosts sneak through the creeks ,sap the crude and zap. What an insult!
I don’t want to preempt the committee’s report on the framework, I believe they are capable. However I strongly advise alertness on our part, we must not let go of this opportunity, too much ,in fact everything is at stake here ,we should not face another term of this corruption-baptised  and poverty-dispensing government. We mustn’t!.
 In conclusion:
Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria's call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace, and unity.
